The Ladies Choir of Northern Irland come to our region

Hi all, on this beautiful sunny morning. Last night I had the pleasure of attending a concert at the Loughor Welfare Hall with the well known compere BBCs Rhodri Lewis. The concert performers were Loughor Town Band, Voices in Harmony Ladies Choir & our guests to the area The Ladies Police Choir of Northern Ireland.

The event was staged to raise funds for the 'Forget Me Not', Dementia Day Clubs & the concert hall was packed out. The concert and singing was excellent with a good sence of fun and humour running through all the performances. The concert had been organised by Edwina Hart AM, who presented the visiting Ladies Choir with local Welsh gifts in appreciation of their visit to South Wales.

 As for my part in this I shall be the tour guide this morning with all the lovely ladies from The Ladies Police Choir of Northern Ireland, and it is my job to show them our beautiful Gower coast and encourage them to return here again. So if you see us in Gower today please give us a wave. All the best for now, Jeff

You should take them to the Mumbles produce market today Jeff - car park on the front, 9 am.

They'll be able to buy Welsh goodies produced locally, and some most definitely produced on Gower.
